Branding
I am committed to a customer-centric approach to ensure your satisfaction. Design is subjective, but my goal is to create designs that align with your vision and goals.
The initial design concepts and the revisions and refinements that follow will allow us to capture your preferences and style. Should you not be satisfied with the final design, however, I will work closely with you to address your concerns and make any necessary adjustments. By collaborating closely and incorporating your feedback, I aim to deliver a final design that you are more than happy with.
Your involvement throughout the design process is essential, and your insights and feedback play a vital role in shaping the outcome. You are welcome and even encouraged to provide your input at every stage of the process. I will take this feedback on board, and balance it with design expertise and best practices to create something communicative and unique.
Absolutely. Your input is essential to ensure that the final design reflects your goals, needs, and objectives.
Throughout the project, you will be actively encouraged to provide feedback, share your thoughts, and request revisions. Everyone has their own taste and preferences, and I am committed to making the necessary adjustments to meet your expectations.
Project scopes can change over time and that’s perfectly normal. If there are any modifications or additions to the initial project scope, we will assess the impact on the timeline and cost. I will communicate any adjustments to the pricing and timeline to ensure transparency, and get your approval before proceeding with any changes.
Currently, there is no minimum budget requirement to work with Healthy Pixels and we will discuss projects and payments on a case-by-case basis.
There are no hidden fees or surprise charges at Healthy Pixels. Before signing a contract, you will get a detailed quote outlining the full project costs.
Whilst projects sometimes change and new requirements do arise, though, additional costs may arise during the project. These will be communicated and discussed with you in advance for your approval.
Yes, you will have ownership of any final designs that you choose. If, for example, you are presented with three logo design concepts, you will own the chosen logo design. The remaining concepts will be owned by Healthy Pixels.
You gain full ownership of the final design once the final payments have been made.
The approach to creating a brand strategy is centred around your unique needs and goals. We’ll start with a conversation to understand your business, target audience, and overall goals and business objectives. This helps me get valuable information that will inform the development of your brand strategy.
Next, we’ll define your brand personality and messaging, which involves visual elements such as a logo, colour palette, fonts and more. The specifics of this stage depend on your project goals.
You will be encouraged to provide feedback throughout the process. Your insights and perspectives play an important role in shaping the brand strategy, capturing the essence of your brand and communicating with your audience. By actively involving you, I aim to drive brand awareness whilst also building customer loyalty, and supporting your overall business growth.
Brand personality are the characteristics associated with a brand. It helps create an emotional connection with customers and shapes how they perceive and interact with the brand.
Elements such as colour, typography, shape, and imagery in a logo can evoke specific emotions and convey the desired brand personality. For example, a playful and vibrant logo could represent an energetic brand personality, while a sophisticated and minimalistic logo may convey a brand with a more elegant and refined personality.
Healthy Pixels is committed to being customer-centric and ensuring your satisfaction. Every brand is unique and everyone has their own taste, so your input and feedback are essential, and we will work closely to make any necessary adjustments.
The initial three logo design concepts you receive are meant to help identify your preferences and style. Further revisions and refinements of your favourite concept(s) will help us develop a logo design that aligns perfectly with your brand identity, values, and goals.
My goal is to create a logo design that not only meets but exceeds your expectations, ensuring that you are fully satisfied with the final result.
A well-designed logo plays an essential role in brand recognition and identity. It is a visual representation of your brand and helps customers easily identify and remember you. A strong logo will create a positive first impression, build trust, and differentiate your brand from competitors.
Through consistent use across various marketing channels, a logo creates a sense of familiarity and loyalty among your target audience.
RentaSite
Yes, all RentaSite plans include up to 3 hours of support every month: By default, we’ll check all plugins and the WordPress installation all run on the latest version every month.
If you don’t have any branding, Healthy Pixels can support with this. The cheapest option is to include a text-based logo on the site – this will come at no extra cost.
It is recommended, however, that we create a logo and define a strong and unique colour palette for the business. If you choose this, startups benefit from prices starting at £100.
The RentaSite plans are intended to quickly get a professional website set up. To accomplish this, we’ve got a set of website layouts and variations you can choose from.
Each section will have 3 alternative layouts available, allowing you to choose what best fits your style and goals. The individual layouts available may vary over time, to ensure multiple websites don’t end up using the same formatting.
Additionally, we’ll add your colour palette and logo, choose sharp vs rounded corners, and of course include your visuals and written content. With these unique variations, your website will feel more like you and thereby become more unique.
You’ll have 3 layout options for each section on your site. In addition, we’ll establish a “design pattern” by implementing your fonts, colours, style (e.g. rounded vs sharp corners) and type of visuals.
We’ll ensure the layout adapts well to your content, so if you choose a section with a 3-step approach but need to communicate 4 steps, we’ll of course optimise for this.
It is important to note, however, that the RentaSite layout types generally are a ‘pick and choose’ approach, with certain variations available for each.
RentaSite is available to those still in their first year of business.
If you sign up during your first year of business, you can keep renting the website for as long as you like, even beyond your first year. Should you ever choose to buy the full site, you can choose to move the site and domain to your own host, or you can stay with Healthy Pixels at a lower monthly fee, depending on the plan in play.
RentaSite is great for most companies in their first year of business that will not use their website as their selling platform.
Some examples include:
Sole traders
Personal trainers
Coaches and trainers
Solicitors and brokers
Mental health practitioners
Trades (e.g. plumbers and electricians)
RentaSite is not for companies that are intending to use the website as their main selling platform, e.g. as eCommerce or booking sites. RentaSite is also not for you if you are looking for more complex layouts, including animations and a stronger brand identity.
These solutions are generally larger and would require a more tailored solution than currently available in the RentaSite plans. Our bespoke websites would be a great alternative, as these are fully customisable and more unique.
As long as you rent the website, the site itself (design, build and domain) belongs to Healthy Pixels.
If you provided branded assets and other visuals, you will of course remain the owner of these, and can use them as and where you like. Where Healthy Pixels provided visuals, please note these might have been sourced from sites from which a licence is needed. If you wish to use these images elsewhere, please speak with your account manager.
Should you ever choose to buy the website (as opposed to renting it), full ownership will be transferred to you.
When you buy a website, you’ll normally pay for the full website upfront, or in two instalments. You then get full ownership of the site, and the sky’s essentially the limit. At Healthy Pixels, this option generally allows more creativity and freedom when implementing your branding, ensuring the website fully speaks of you.
When renting a website, however, Healthy Pixels remains the owner unless you choose to buy the site. We’ll keep your site on our servers, ensuring it’s up to date.
Yes. Should you ever wish to change to full ownership, you can buy it anytime. The price will be based on the site’s current value.
Website Content
Absolutely. We’ve done this for many clients, as a full rewrite isn’t always necessary.
It depends on the size of the project. Some websites can be written in a couple of days, while others might take a couple of weeks.
A big part of the timeline comes down to how quickly the client can answer questions, provide input, and give feedback. The faster the communication, the faster we can move.
Content alone does not make you appear on Google. If Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a priority, we can optimise the copy for relevant keywords and search intent. If not, the focus will be purely on creating strong, conversion-focused content.
AI can be a helpful tool, but it needs careful handling. If you go this route, you’ll need strong prompts and editing to ensure it still sounds like you.
Pure AI-written content often feels generic, and research shows people lose trust if they think it wasn’t written by a real person. Always read your AI-generated content out loud: if it doesn’t sound like you (or your brand), change it. If you notice, others will too.
Website Maintenance
Yes, all RentaSite plans include up to 3 hours of support every month: By default, we’ll check all plugins and the WordPress installation all run on the latest version every month.
Yes. The goal is always to make websites easy to update, no matter who manages them. If you want to, we can schedule a call to show you how to make updates on your own. And, if you ever need extra help, we can agree on an hourly rate or a flat one-off fee.
Absolutely! Happy to help, no matter who built the site. If the build is highly complex or runs on many plugins that affect performance, the monthly cost might be slightly higher, but we’ll always assess and quote before starting.
The default agreement does not include:
Major design or layout changes
Development of new features or functionality
Emergency support outside of regular business hours
The above changes are generally quoted as separate projects and/or billed by the hour, however, the agreement can be adjusted if you expect these changes are needed frequently.
Websites
Visibility on Google (SEO: Search Engine Optimisation) is a whole field on its own. While I do not conduct full and thorough SEO audits, all websites I develop will take some standard SEO practices into consideration, including:
Meta titles and descriptions on all pages
Alt text for all images that are not simply graphics
A h1 on every page, and a tree hierarchy for following headlines
No broken links on launch; but we’ll create a custom 404 page anyway
If you have additional needs that I can’t help with, I have plenty of strong contacts that I work well with.
