The brand

Logo creation

TalkSpace360 is an online therapy platform that connects individuals with licensed therapists for video, chat, or phone-based counselling sessions.

Wanting a simple logo, I focussed primarily on the typography for the TalkSpace360 logo design. Having identified a font that was close to the visual style I had in mind, I refined it to fit the desired look better and to give it more personality.

The process below shows three main stages. The first line is the logo as written out by the font by default. In the second line, I have reduced spacing between the letters to improve the legibility. I then combined the K and S, visualising the concept of connections.

As this is online therapy, I also changed the As to resemble a chat icon.

Finally, I extended the top of the T, and rounded off all corners for a smoother, friendlier look and feel, and eventually adding colours.

App design

As an online learning platform, I also designed an app layout. This included app pages such as homepage for both clients and therapists, call screen, overview of therapists, calendar booking and more.

I wanted the app to be positive and welcoming, and thus chose to integrate the warm orange colour into the background.

Printed and digital ads

To promote TalkSpace360, I designed a set of posters and ads intended for print and social media. As the platform has two primary target groups, one set was created for clients, and the other for recruitment purposes.

The ads are fairly plain, with only the elements that are truly needed.

Consistency

Creating the brand guide

With assets and branding ready, I put it all into a descriptive brand guide. A guide like this helps truly define a brand, ensuring consistency across channels.

Yellow, black and white have been chosen as the primary colours as used in the logo, complemented by secondary colours orange, red and blue. With a limited colour palette, we ensure a unique but consistent brand, but with enough variation to create contrast.
