Background
Returning clients from a previous website project, the team behind Lumex got in touch in April to discuss their new company and their need for a website. Their goal was to build an online presence that would establish them as a credible, professional business.
Solution
The brief was to create a clean, elegant site with just a handful of pages to introduce who they are, what they offer, and a gallery to showcase their work.
The Lumex team chose to write their own website content. To support, Healthy Pixels provided an outlined structure for each page, including guidance on content type, amount, and flow. We then reviewed everything together to make sure it was clear, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
They leaned toward a minimalistic, Scandinavian-inspired look: clean, understated, and elegant. Strong imagery would take the spotlight, while the layout remained simple, purposeful, and unique without being overcomplicated.
The result
Thanks to our existing working relationship, the project ran seamlessly from start to finish. We already understood Lumex’s preferences—their likes, dislikes, and vision—making collaboration effortless.
When presented with three design directions for the homepage, they selected a favourite with no edits required. Development followed with the same ease, leading the client to share:
“Good evening Monika – I have very little to feedback, it’s so good!”
The end result is a refined, modern website that quietly speaks volumes. It’s minimal, yet full of character; simple, yet impactful. Most importantly, it gives Lumex the professional online presence they wanted.
