Background for this nonprofit workbook
Many charities I speak with say the same: they struggle with social media.
They have difficulties finding the time and motivation, don’t know what their audience would be interested in engaging with, have no idea which platform(s) to focus on, and very often simply don’t have any post ideas in the first place.
Very often, I’ll brainstorm over a call, and my clients have had several lightbulb moments after realising they have many more unique perspectives to offer than they initially think.
All of this, and honestly so much more, is the driving force behind this workbook. Intended to help you generate a bunch of post ideas, and even put these into your (first) monthly calendar, it takes you through the very strategy I use myself to plan out my own content.
What you’ll get
While I’ve tried to keep it short and sweet, this workbook is full of techniques, and even some ChatGPT prompts to streamline further.
The content
The main section of the workbook is all about generating post ideas – ones that will engage not only yourself and your organisation but also your audience. We look at sustainable schedules, ensuring you enjoy the process of posting and not just see it as another task on your never-ending to-do list.
Unlike many, I don’t want you to be posting on all platforms every single day. Instead, I encourage you to find a rhythm that works for you, your goals (we’ll define these too), and your organisation as a whole.
Bonus tips
No great workbook without some bonus tips, right?
I’m sharing my top tips for being social on social media, as well as some pitfalls to watch out for if using AI and a super handy cloud of words you should stay away from (because ChatGPT loves them).
